Academy Mission
Combining the knowledge and experience of generations and eras aimed at harmonizing the relationship between man and the subsoil.
Goals of the Academy
- Promoting the development of the mining and metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan;
- Assistance in improving the process of training and retraining of specialists for the mining and metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan;
- Conducting independent fundamental and applied research in priority areas of mining sciences.
Activities
- Assistance in the formation of a strategy for scientific, technical and socio-economic development of the mining complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Assist in the development of draft laws and other regulations relating to issues related to the goals and objectives of the Academy.
- Development of scientific and technical cooperation with state, public, scientific and industrial organizations and enterprises.
- Development of international scientific and technical relations in the field of mining sciences.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, honorary member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, full member of the World Academy of Mining Sciences, Academy of Mining Sciences of Russia, Academy of Mining Sciences of Mongolia, International Academy of Engineering (Moscow), Academy of Mining Sciences of Ukraine, National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since 2014 – member of the International Organizing Committee of the World Mining Congress.
Merits in science and industry have been recognized with a number of awards, academic degrees and titles.
The result of international activities in the field of mining science was the establishment by Eurasian countries represented by the Academies of Mining Sciences and scientific communities – the Eurasian Academy of Mining Sciences, which was then reorganized into the World Academy of Mining Sciences of which N.B. Ryspanov was elected president.
